Goodview Sandlot Try On and Pancake Breakfast Ticket Pick Up
At the uniform sizing all players can try on uniform samples and choose their numbers. Parents can also pay the $100 volunteer fee and pay for their $60 pancake breakfast tickets at this time.
Volunteer fee checks are destroyed at the end of the season after families fulfill the required DIBS hours for the season. Families not fulfilling the volunteer requirements will have their check cashed. Each family is required to do 5 hours of DIBS/volunteer hours in a season, at tournaments, pancake breakfast, and other Sandlot sponsored events.
Each family is required to purchase $60 worth/10 pancake breakfast tickets. The pancake breakfast is one of our best fundraisers and a great way to kick off our baseball season.
Any questions can be directed to any member of the board.

Sandlot families. This year the pants will be changing from the red stripe down the leg to all gray pants. We are doing this as we have heard from parents it’s hard to find the red stripe pants in local stores. All 10U and up must match at all state qualifiers and state tournaments. Thank you

Dear Goodview Sandlot Softball families,
There has been some recent discussion about the Goodview Sandlot Softball program. Our numbers have been low in recent years, with no 10U team at all last year to feed players into our program. As a board, we have decided to suspend/phase out the softball program for Goodview Sandlot. We as board, do not want to encourage registrations with no real idea if we would be able to field a team at the respective levels. This could cause our players to be displaced if other local programs become full or close their registration. With that being said, we will field a 16U softball program for the time being. Many of these girls would not have a place to play next season, as many teams that they would participate on have already had try outs or closed their registration. The 16U team currently has the numbers to fill a team at this level. The board and softball coordinator have been in contact with the Winona Winstars program, a long and reputable youth program in the Winona area. They have been very encouraging and welcoming of the idea of our players registering for their program. Thank you for your understanding, and thank you for your support of our program over the years.
Please see the link to the Winona Winstars website and letter below from their board.
Goodview Sandlot Board
Dear Goodview Sandlot Board Members,
Good morning! We hope that you are all well and enjoying the season!
It is our understanding that the Goodview Sandlot Softball program will soon be making some changes. As such, it is with great admiration, respect, and gratitude that we write this letter.
Through the years, the Sandlot softball program has afforded numerous girls the opportunity to gain all the benefits that this sport can give, and you have done so in a manner that will have a lasting positive impact. The lessons you have installed and the experiences you helped create have helped our youth learn and grow in sport and in life. We recognize and appreciate your dedication to softball, the players, their families, and the community. Thank you!
In living the mission of our own program, please know that the WinStars will warmly welcome any player and their family to our softball organization if they choose. Our registration is currently open and can be accessed here https://winonawinstars.sportngin.com/register/form/191377365 . Knowing that transition and change can be difficult for anyone, also know that our Board members will gladly hear any questions, comments, or concerns anyone has about this process or our program. If you think it would be beneficial, we may be able to put together an informationalmeeting for those who have questions.
Lastly, if you want to pass along any of this information to your Sandlot families, please feel free to do so! Again, thank you for helping our community’s youth have fun and live their passion for softball. You all have created a legacy to be proud of!
Wishing you all the best!

Below is the link for the 2018 organization wide code of conduct. Please take a look at the document. Each player and parent must turn in a signed copy of the form by the first game.
Minnesota Baseball League has announced a new regulation for all age levels. All bats used at MBT must have the logo shown above. The logo must be stamped on the taper of the bat.
This rule change only applies to MBT. As of right now, Gopher State and the Coulee Region will still allow bats with the old USSSA stamp.
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON BUYING ANY BATS, WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEY BE STAMPED WITH THE NEW LOGO. THIS WILL ENSURE THEY CAN BE USED AT ANY AND ALL TOURNAMENTS FOR THE 2018 SEASON
